FED: More charges laid in letter bomb case
CANBERRA, Dec 8 AAP - Prosecutors today laid 28 new charges against the man accused of
masterminding last weeks nationwide letter bombing campaign.
Colin George Dunstan, 43, a suspended tax office worker, made a 15-minute appearance in the
ACT Magistrates Court where he was charged with 28 counts of using an explosive device in
circumstances dangerous to life.
Dunstan has also been charged with one count of arson with intent to endanger life.
The charges relate to last Wednesdays parcel bomb explosion at the Canberra mail centre
and the sending of 27 other devices to tax office and human rights commission staff around
Australia.
Dunstan, of Sentry Crescent in the north Canberra suburb of Palmerston, made no plea and
did not apply for bail.
He was remanded in custody to reappear in the same court on Friday pending a mental health
