WA:Cyclone warning cancelled for WA's nw

A cyclone warning has been cancelled for Western Australia's northwest coast after
the category 2 system Dianne began moving out to sea .. but communities remain on alert
for flooding.

But a cyclone watch remains current for coastal areas from Coral Bay to the Overlander
Roadhouse including Carnarvon and Denham.

Flood warnings remain in place for the Gascoyne and Murchison Rivers.

Other parts of WA are also on flood alert .. including the Kimberley and Goldfields
regions .. due to thunderstorms and heavy rains.

The weather bureau says Dianne is about 480 kilometres west northwest of Exmouth at
eight am (WST) .. moving south southwest at about 13 kilometres per hour.
